Local Jobs
Every product built in-country creates work for African artisans, technicians, farmers, and producers.
Partnership-Driven Infrastructure
For Profit. For Good.
PureTrust Global delivers resilient water filtration and food security infrastructure through a for-profit partnership model, bringing together investors, NGOs, governments, charities, and manufacturing partners to build locally, serve broadly, and sustain measurable impact across Africa.
The Problem
Across rural Africa, millions of families lack reliable access to both safe water and nutritious food. Imported solutions — whether filtration systems or food products — are expensive, hard to maintain, and difficult to scale. When supply lines fail, communities are left exposed.
The answer cannot only come from outside. It must be built — and sustained — close to the people who depend on it.
Our Solution
PureTrust Global addresses both crises through the same model: local manufacturing, practical technology, and procurement-ready products that communities can source, use, and sustain.
Filtration systems built, maintained, and replaced using local materials and skills — designed for households, schools, clinics, and community deployment.
Locally produced, shelf-stable nutrition products made from African-grown ingredients — designed for families, institutions, and humanitarian procurement.
Why Local Matters
Every product built in-country creates work for African artisans, technicians, farmers, and producers.
Clay, sand, charcoal, cashew, baobab, and okpa are sourced from nearby suppliers — not shipped from overseas.
Locally understood designs and ingredients can be produced, repaired, and restocked without relying on overseas factories.
Manufacturing close to communities cuts freight, customs, and middleman costs across both water and food products.
Standardized products and clear specifications make it easy for partners to procure and deploy at scale.
Local supply chains survive funding cycles, shipping delays, and emergencies — for water and food alike.
Cost Per Household
Across both water and food infrastructure, lowering “cost per household” could come from:
Filter Models
Made from clay, rice husks or sawdust, kiln firing, and silver treatment. A trusted, gravity-fed solution for households.
Made from cement, sand, gravel, and simple piping. Long-lasting, low-maintenance, and field-proven over decades.
Uses locally sourced buckets and housings with locally produced ceramic or carbon filter elements. Affordable, portable, and easy to use.
A low-cost pre-filter option using biochar, sand, and gravel. Ideal for clearing turbid water before final filtration.
How It Works
Water slowly passes through porous ceramic candle filters. The ceramic helps reduce sediment and bacteria, while silver impregnation helps inhibit bacterial growth on the filter surface.
Humanitarian Advantage
Instead of importing proprietary cartridges, communities can refill locally using bulk carbon. That is a major sustainability advantage over many commercial systems — keeping costs down, supply chains short, and filters working long after the original delivery.
Where We Start
Our first target markets are Nigeria and West Africa. The region offers strong potential for local water filter manufacturing and food production — with access to quality clay, sand, gravel, charcoal, cashew, baobab, and skilled artisans and farmers. Nigeria and surrounding West African nations also have established NGO networks, schools, churches, and clinics that can serve as distribution partners from day one.
Business Model
PureTrust Global is a commercial company built for procurement. We start with water filters and infrastructure — the foundation of community health — and grow into the broader products NGOs, governments, schools, clinics, churches, and retail customers rely on. Revenue from commercial partnerships keeps manufacturing running, jobs paid, and quality high.
Humanitarian partnerships, including with organizations such as Bending the Bow, extend access to the poorest communities through subsidized or donated distribution. Together, the model is self-sustaining and scalable — because every partnership strengthens the next.
